Job summary

Unidine is hiring immediately for a part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position. You'll join a culinary team that prepares, presents and serves food in a fast-paced environment, with hours that may vary including weekends and holidays.

This role requires prior food service and healthcare experience preferred; pay is $16.00 per hour. You’ll work with a supportive team, follow safety standards, and help deliver quality meals to customers and patients.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety standards and procedures.
• Flexible to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes to ensure quality and portion control.
• Assists in serving customers and resolves concerns with supervision.
