Job summary

East Norriton Middle School, part of the Norristown Area School District, is hiring a Part Time Food Service Worker to support lunch service at East Norriton site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with food service experience preferred. Clearances are required and Spanish language ability is a plus. Shift is 3 hours per day, five days a week at $18.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Valid clearances: FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse & PA Criminal Background Clearances.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures.
• Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program.
• Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed.
• Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures.
