Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking a part-time Food Service Utility at Sacred Heart University’s Martire Family Arena. The role includes maintaining clean kitchen spaces and assisting with food prep and service.

Schedule: part-time, weekends required, with flexible hours and interview-based details. Key duties include sanitation, washing surfaces, trash disposal, transferring supplies, setup for events, and assisting with receiving and delivering materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with kitchen sanitation and food handling.
• Experience with dishwashing and general kitchen operations.
• Ability to move and receive packages safely.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it properly.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and products.
• Distributes utensils and equipment as needed.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements and performs other duties.
