Job summary

Compass Group USA, through Bon Appétit, is seeking a Food Service Worker in Seattle, WA. This is a part-time role with a schedule Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

The pay range is $25.00 to $26.00 per hour, and applicants must hold a valid Washington Food Handler's card. You will prepare, present and serve food as needed, perform prep tasks, handle ingredients, store food safely, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Washington Food Handler's card.
• Part-time availability; Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seeds fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
