JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Brandywine Housing and Food Services is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual for a part-time Food Service Worker position. This role will primarily support the operation of our on-campus coffee shop, as well as assist with general kitchen preparation and catering support.
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer questions about menu items and specials.
Prepare and serve beverages following standardized recipes.
Serve food items and maintain display areas.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace and dining areas.
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
Maintain high standards for beverage preparation and presentation.
This is fast-paced work requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
Excellent customer service skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for food service excellence.
Prior food service experience required.
Part-Time: Up to 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
