Compass Group USA is hiring for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at University of Arkansas - Fairbanks. The role involves cashiering, basic food prep, and maintaining sanitation in a campus dining setting in Fairbanks, AK.

Evenings and weekends required; pay ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour with benefits for eligible associates. Responsibilities include serving customers, handling transactions, following recipes and safety standards, and supporting daily dining operations.

Qualifications

• Prior food service and hospitality experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Ensures sanitation and safety requirements are met.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure correct portions and temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints politely.
• Relays information to the supervisor.
• Enters sales into the cash register and processes payments.
• Makes change and issues receipts; handles refunds as needed.
• Maintains change funds and cash drawer accuracy.
• Replenishes condiments and supplies; keeps service area clean.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
