Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Part-time Food Service Worker on a rotating shift in the Food Services Department. You will assist in preparing meals, assembling orders according to dietary guidelines, maintain clean kitchen/dining areas, wash dishes, and may work as a cashier to support patient, staff and visitor service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and a Food Handlers Card; prior food service or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a cashier and assist with utility needs
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld and delivered to patients, staff and visitors
