Food Service Workers are essential members of the food services team who offer support and contribute in multiple ways, such as delivering nutritious meals and providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.

This position entails preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences; maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas; washing dishes; working as a cashier; meeting utility needs; and ensuring food safety standards are upheld.

Food Handlers Card required in the city of Norfolk

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)

Certification / Licensure

• Food Handlers Card – Certification as required by the local Health Department. (Required)
