Job summary

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with theatrical rigging principles and fly systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

  • Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • UF students eligible to work on campus may apply through OPS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and stagehand support for live events and productions.
  • Operate or assist in manual counterweight rigging systems.
  • Load/unload counterweight arbors and balance line sets.
  • Pull cable picks and spot lines for lighting and sound needs.
  • Work from the grid to install rigging points for suspended gear.
  • Follow safety policies and communicate with production staff.
  • Maintain stage cleanliness and assist in setup and strikes.
