Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking delivery drivers for Flowerama to provide friendly, efficient, and timely deliveries to our customers in Waterloo, IA.

Must be 21 or older for insurance purposes. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean van, fueling and basic maintenance logs, lifting up to 60 lbs, working in cold environments, following traffic laws, and using the BMS system to process delivery tickets.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older for insurance purposes.
• Provide and maintain a DOT-compliant Personal Motor Vehicle Record.
• Lift and transport up to 60 pounds unassisted.
• Work in temperatures as low as 32°F and in seasonal weather.
• Strong command of the English language and legible handwriting.
• Deliver products on time and follow traffic laws.
• Maintain neat appearance per Dress Code Policy.
• Process delivery tickets using the BMS system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Flowerama products to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
• Keep van clean inside and out; monitor fuel and fluids.
• Complete maintenance log daily and document deliveries in the system.
• Check-in, inventory, and stock freight; coordinate with management.
• Follow all Flowerama policies and safety procedures; use proper lifting techniques.
• Work seven days a week per posted schedule; be on-call as needed.
• Assist with unloading trucks and seasonal shipments.
