Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a Floor Technician for the ES-MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw location in Saginaw, MI. The role is part-time with a 6:30 am–2:30 pm schedule; weekends and holidays rotate.

The pay rate is $16.00 per hour and prior floor care experience is preferred but not required. As a Floor Technician you will maintain hard-surface floors, operate floor care equipment, and assist with carpet and upholstery tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface.
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
