Job description

Position: Part Time Floor Leader

Weekly: 20-29 hours

Floor Leader

As a Floor Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. This includes driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will work with fellow leaders to ensure the store operates smoothly, creating an exceptional customer experience, a motivated staff, and operational excellence.

Your day-to-day will be on the shop floor, leading and inspiring a team of sales associates to meet and exceed their goals. By fostering passion and positivity, you'll help create a productive and enjoyable work environment, resulting in happy customers and employees. The role is about making a positive impact, one soap at a time!

Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Experience:
  • Driving Sales: Use StoreForce dashboard results to coach the sales team, adjust shop floor structure, meet sales goals, and celebrate achievements.
  • Customer Experience: Lead by example in delivering world-class service, including product demonstrations, and exceeding sales goals to build customer loyalty and a positive reputation.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values and our stance on animal testing, ethics, and sustainability through in-store and community engagement.
  • Product Passion: Continuously improve product knowledge and make informed recommendations.
Team Involvement:
  • Development: Train and coach team members, support their growth, and seek personal development opportunities.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Promote open communication, collaboration, and recognize each individual's contributions.
Operational Excellence:
  • Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage transactions, reconcile cash, and secure the store.
  • Time and Attendance: Lead by example in punctuality, monitor breaks, and ensure team is informed and prepared.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain an appealing store environment.
  • Stock and Inventory: Support inventory management and display adjustments.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • At least 1 year in customer service, sales, cash handling, supervisory roles, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethics.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
  • Experience with consultation-based service, sales analysis, skincare or cosmetics, DEIB or social justice training, and multilingual abilities.
Cherry Hill Pay $18.70 — $18.70 USD
