The Malvern School is currently seeking an Assistant Teacher to float between classrooms at The Malvern School of King of Prussia, PA. This is a part-time position, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education. The general duties will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
  • Communicating regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What We Need From You:

  • High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
  • At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.
  • Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) or a degree in the field.
