Job summary

Raley's in Chico, CA is hiring a Part-Time Floating Pharmacy Technician who is positive and passionate. In this role, you will support the Pharmacist and help create a memorable shopping experience for customers while performing pharmacy tasks across the department.

You will assist with prescriptions, input data, answer phones, stock shelves, and uphold safety with required California license and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Board of Pharmacy State License required.
• This is a safety-sensitive role requiring drug test.
• Permanent residency in California is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers
• Answering phones and operating the cash register in the Pharmacy
• Operating the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs
• Calling doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions
• Receiving orders from patients and typing pharmacy labels
• Checking in merchandise and stocking shelves
• Conducting general housekeeping duties when needed
• Assisting the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves
