Job summary

The Goddard School of South Loop – Chicago, IL is seeking a Part-Time Floating Preschool Teacher to support multiple classrooms and age groups.

Able to engage young children through play and learning activities, provide attentive supervision, and help with transitions, meals, and routines. This position offers consistent part-time hours, a friendly team, and opportunities to grow within the school.

Qualifications

• Must meet Illinois DCFS requirements for an early childhood classroom.
• Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred.
• ECE coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Preschool and other classrooms as needed.
• Engage children through play, conversations and routines.
• Provide attentive supervision at all times.
• Assist with transitions, meals, outdoor play and rest time.
• Follow routines and positive guidance practices.
• Help maintain clean, inviting classrooms.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Support school events and operations as needed.
