Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist at our Cleveland and Willoughby sites. The role emphasizes patient interaction, accuracy in prescription processing, inventory management, and compliance with regulations.

You will provide excellent customer service, fill prescriptions, manage supplies, and assist in pharmacy operations while working 24 hours per week with potential to flex

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Ability to work onsite at 3420 Carnegie Ave. Cleveland, OH 2 days per week and at 35104 Euclid Ave. Suite 201 Willoughby, OH 44094 1 day per week
• Ability to work part time 24 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to work at both the Cincinnati, OH and the Willoughby, OH locations

We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours

Part-time with 24 hours guaranteed weekly with potential to flex up to 40 hours weekly based on business need. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm
