Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part-time Float Pharmacist in Colorado (32 hours/week) to process prescriptions and support regional operations in Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. Hours are typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, advising customers on usage, delivering high service standards, and ensuring compliance with state Pharmacy Boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Colorado.
• Willing to obtain pharmacist licensure in Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
