Job summary

CAE Simuflite in Dallas seeks a PartTime Simulator Flight Instructor I to deliver high‑quality training in our ATP-CTP E170/190 program. You will lead simulator sessions and ground school, ensuring regulatory standards and CAE procedures are followed.

The role requires a type rating on E170/190, FAA ATP certificate, and experience with Part 121/135 programs, along with English fluency and strong teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Type rating on E170/190 required.
• FAA ATP certificate unrestricted required.
• Minimum 2 years in FAA Part 121/135 program.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• English fluency is required.
• Solid knowledge of aviation regulations.
• Strong communication and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led Part 142 training to CAE customers.
• Provide ATP/CTP ground school and simulator sessions on the E170/190 platform.
• Conduct thorough pre- and postflight simulator briefings per CAE standards.
• Deliver simulator instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications.
• Maintain training records and handover to other instructors.
• Recommend remedial training when necessary.
• Record simulator usage and discrepancies per procedures.
• Track and maintain personal instructional qualifications.
• Assist with curriculum and courseware development when required.
• Attend examiner-related training as assigned by Head of Training.
• Serve as an invigilator during examinations.
