Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer in Fort Lauderdale for a part-time role. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts across various sites, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare, education, and other industries.

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments.
• Background investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe for theft and ensure authorized removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site orders.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
