Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Flex Corporate Building Patrol in New York, NY. You will deliver customer service to tenants and visitors, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond calmly to incidents in accordance with site procedures.

The role offers flexible shifts with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Prior security experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients while following site-specific procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including parking facilities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized access.
• Document observations and maintenance or security-related concerns through timely reports.
