The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is hiring a part-time shuttle driver to transport Lions Gate residents to the residence hall and local centers. The role runs Fridays evenings and weekends during the academic year (August–May), at up to 20 hours per week for $15 per hour.
You will operate vans under 26,000 pounds GVW, assist passengers, perform vehicle checks, and comply with background checks and licensing requirements.
Drive a light vehicle, such as a car, truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) to transport Lions Gate residents to and from the residence hall and local shopping centers on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sundays during the day. This opening is part-time during the Academic Year (August - May), 20hrs per week (max) at $15/hr.
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
