Job summary

Scheels in Tulsa, OK is seeking a customer-focused in-store associate. You will greet customers, check them in and out of fitting rooms, and help manage merchandise to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience, plus a willingness to learn product knowledge and work with a team. Compensation starts at $15 per hour with ESOP benefits and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge and assist customers effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and check them in and out of rooms, monitoring merchandise in fitting rooms.
  • Prepare merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) for return to the selling floor.
  • Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner with sales associates.
  • Be knowledgeable about location, price, and use of merchandise, directing customers to the correct associate.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.

Compensation: Compensation for this position starts at $15 per hour.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will have or be in pursuit of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
