Plus One, an Optum company, seeks a part-time Exercise Specialist to support a high-profile fitness center in Minneapolis/Bloomington, MN. The role emphasizes fitness consultations, program design, and client engagement to deliver an excellent wellness experience.

Responsibilities include guiding safe equipment usage, delivering progressive fitness plans, and educating participants on health information. Shift hours are Tue and Thu until 9pm, with development courses through our LMS.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field.
• NCCA-accredited personal training certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Conduct ongoing fitness consultations including movement screens, needs analyses and goal setting.
• Develop progressive fitness programming to motivate participants and enhance experience.
• Instruct participants on safe/effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Educate participants on clinically proven health/fitness information and available programming.
• Complete internal development courses via LMS platform.
• Maintain positive customer experience and high-quality service.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or kinesiology or related field
