Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• UT Advanced EMT or Paramedic certification required.
• UT Firefighter I & II certifications required.
• Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certification required.
• Valid Utah driver's license and insurability to operate city equipment.
• PALS/ALS within 12 months of hire; NFPA 1582 medical/physical readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform firefighting duties and emergency medical care as part of a team.
• Respond to emergencies, operate fire apparatus, and provide patient transport.
• Conduct inspections, prepare reports, and maintain equipment and stations.
• Participate in drills, training, and compliance with safety standards.
