• Preferred Paramedic certification.
• Preferred Firefighter 1, Firefighter II Certification.
• Certifications from other states will be considered as the Utah Fire Service Certification System offers reciprocity to certifications from other states as long as it has either an IFSAC seal or a Pro Board certificate.
• NREMT must be obtained before test date of October 10, 2026.

PAY RATE: Paramedic 1: $69,888-$104,832/annually, AEMT 1: $60,834-$91,252/annually (Depending on experience and qualifications, with starting wage not typically above the mid-point on the range)

SCHEDULE: 48 hours on, 96 hours off, 24-day cycle

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from High School or equivalent.
• Must possess a current, valid Driver's License, and have a good driving record.
