Qualifications

• Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
• Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
• University considers related work experience, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, and teaching excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or update course syllabus and prepare lectures, projects or assignments.
• Meet all designated class periods and maintain office hours.
• Grade student assignments and exams timely and submit progress reports and final grades.
• The department offers: Fire & Safety Engineering Technology - Fire & Safety Concentration (Undergraduate); Fire & Safety Engineering Technology - Occupational Safety Concentration (Undergraduate); Fire Protection and Safety Management (Graduate).
