Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking qualified part-time faculty for the Fire Protection Technology Department at Cascade Campus. This is a pool for substitute and full-term teaching assignments as needs arise during the Academic Year.

Applicants should list PCC courses they can teach and may be considered for various course types. We welcome instructors with an Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection or related field and significant firefighting experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Fire Protection Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time recent teaching experience.
• Five (5) years recent experience as a career firefighter OR ten (10) years as a volunteer firefighter OR equivalent.
