Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Flooring Installer with experience in carpentry and painting, specifically in healthcare or hospital environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in sensitive, occupied settings and must understand the importance of infection control, noise limitations, and safety protocols in clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install a variety of commercial flooring systems (e.g., vinyl, tile, carpet, epoxy) in healthcare and hospital settings while minimizing disruption to patient care.
2. Prepare subfloors, perform demolition, and install new surfaces to manufacturer specifications.
3. Execute general carpentry tasks such as wall framing, door and trim installation, minor drywall repair, and finish carpentry.
4. Perform high-quality painting including surface prep, priming, and applying finishes in patient areas, corridors, offices, and public spaces.
5. Coordinate with hospital staff to schedule work in occupied areas, ensuring minimal impact to operations.
6. Follow strict safety, infection control, and cleanliness procedures per healthcare facility standards.
7. Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas and properly store tools and materials.
8. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and facility personnel to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
