## Part-Time Financial Literacy Coordinator, Student Services SupportApply: Northwest Missouri State University Maryville: Part time: Posted Yesterday: R-00250## **SALARY:**$17.98**POSITION TITLE:**SSS Financial Literacy Coordinator**DEPARTMENT**:TRIO SSS Student Support Services**JOB DESCRIPTION:****EMPLOYMENT TERMS:** .625 FTE (25 hours per week), 12 month position**PRIMARY DUTY:**The Financial Literacy Coordinator for the TRIO Programs is responsible for assessing and monitoring the financial needs of program participants and providing education, counseling, and support services designed to help students address those needs and achieve their financial goals.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**1. Meet individually with students experiencing financial difficulties2. Assist participants in procuring maximum financial aid packages, resolving account holds, and filing FAFSA (including organizing FAFSA workshops).3. Provide objective guidance, training and tools for students to make wise financial choices4. Provide individual and group financial literacy counseling, counseling on managing loan debt, and collaborating with the Financial Aid office.5. Assist project participants in identifying and securing educational funding through private and public sources6. Develop and conduct financial literacy and planning workshops7. Assist Director with program evaluations and reporting as needed8. Maintain appropriate documentation to meet Federal guidelines9. Serve on University committees which impact the financial success of SSS- eligible participants.10.
