Job summary

SPL in Reading, PA is seeking a part-time Field Services Technician II to perform regulated environmental sampling and specialized field operations. You will independently execute sampling programs and operate composite sampling equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance and sample integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational training in a related technical field preferred.
• Hands-on experience in field services, regulated sampling, warehouse, or related technical roles.
• Familiarity with field sampling techniques and equipment operation strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulated environmental sampling and sample collection per approved methods and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to client sites to pick up and deliver samples following routes and schedules.
• Maintain chain of custody, sample integrity, and regulatory holding times during transport.
• Deploy, program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain composite sampling equipment.
• Verify equipment operation and document maintenance and field activities.
• Conduct field inspections at facilities and distribution systems and document observations.
• Complete field and electronic documentation accurately.
