Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to support hospitals with medical waste services in the Omaha, NE area. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring travel between sites and physical work including lifting and moving containers.

The position emphasizes dependability, teamwork, and attention to safety procedures, with daytime hours (~20 hours/week) and potential overtime. You will be part of a mission-driven healthcare service focused on safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
