We are hiring in Quincy, IL.

This position supports the Quincy, IL area within a radius of up to 100 miles. If you live within a 30-minute drive of Quincy, this could be an ideal location for you.

The general schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility to meet customer needs.

The starting pay is $15/hr, with additional earnings for installations and services, plus mileage reimbursement. The potential annual earnings can reach up to $60,000.

This Field Service Support Technician role is vital within our Lifeline business, which has been a leader in emergency response services for nearly 50 years. We focus on serving vulnerable populations with emergency response, medication management, predictive analytics, and digital engagement, improving enrollment, compliance, and outcomes.

In this role, you will:

Provide excellent customer service during in-home installations, service, and retrieval of Lifeline’s emergency response equipment and other devices. If you are caring, compassionate, enjoy interacting with seniors, and can work independently, this job is for you! The territory covers Quincy, IL, and up to 100 miles around it.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Adjusting training to meet subscriber needs, including speaking slowly and clearly.
  • Educating and training subscribers and caregivers on our products/services professionally and respectfully.
  • Processing work orders for installations, training, service, and retrieval.
  • Completing tasks on schedule and providing excellent service.
  • Scheduling appointments within service standards.
  • Ensuring subscribers and caregivers are comfortable with the equipment and service.
  • Maintaining communication and inventory protocols.
  • Submitting reports and documents accurately and timely.
  • Providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work for emergency service orders.

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to operate basic machinery and electronic equipment.
  • Patience and caring nature, especially with seniors wary of change.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and follow instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license (up to 75% local travel within a 100-mile radius).
  • Adherence to dress code.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb stairs.
