Job summary

Power Play Distributors in Bloomington, IL is seeking a part-time merchandiser to merchandise products, stock shelves, rotate stock, and ensure proper display according to procedures.

You will work from verbal orders and written guidelines, build relationships with store personnel, and maintain accurate case and hours reports while communicating issues to Sales Representatives and the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Organizational skills to manage stock and displays.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Knowledge of market and product trends relevant to the region.
• Ensure all products have shelf tags and correct pricing.
• Clear, effective communication with store personnel.
• Strong interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer and store needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products and ensure full stocking, rotation and proper display.
• Move products from backroom to sales floor using carts and procedures.
• Fill, merchandize and rotate products on shelves per procedures and programs.
• Organize back room by stacking by case/SKU and manage returns of pallets and aged stock.
• Maintain standard reports of cases and hours at each store.
• Communicate issues to Sales Representatives or District Manager.
