Job summary

NASDA - National Association of State Departments of Agriculture is seeking dependable Field Enumerators for flexible part-time work visiting farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses to collect important agricultural information. You will engage with the local farming community, document responses, and work independently while staying active.

Paid training is provided; mileage reimbursement and a company-provided electronic device are included.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable and comfortable talking with people.
• Able to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with agriculture or eager to learn about it.
• Able to drive to local farms and businesses.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and walk on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Visit and speak with farmers, ranchers and agricultural businesses to collect information.
• Work with NASDA to conduct field interviews and data collection.
• Travel to local farms and communities as needed; some evenings or weekends may be required.
• Use basic computer tools to record information and submit reports.
• Attend paid training and work independently while staying active.
