Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable and comfortable talking with people.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Able to drive to local farms and businesses.
• Familiar with agriculture or willing to learn.
• Comfortable using basic computer technology.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and walk on uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

• Visit and speak with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses to collect important agricultural information.
• Meet and speak with people in the local agricultural community.
• Work independently while staying active and meeting targets.
• Some evening or weekend work may be needed; occasional travel for training.
