Job summary

Goodwill Northern New England is seeking a part-time custodian in Hanover, NH, offering 20-25 hours per week at $23.07 per hour. Primary duties include cleaning restrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies.

Responsibilities also cover door/window cleaning, waste disposal, and following safety procedures; pre-employment background checks and government clearance steps may apply for entry to certain facilities.

Qualifications

• Must meet program eligibility requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Must pass a government background to acquire naval access badge.
• Completion of degree(s) above minimum education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs general custodial duties: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms, and restocking supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles and disposes trash properly.
• Unlocks and locks doors after cleaning areas.
• Reports needs and concerns to Project Manager and checks supply levels.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices in the workplace.
