Job summary

Farmland Hardware in Iowa is seeking a part-time Farm & Contractor Sales Associate to help customers at the counter. You will learn products, assist contractors, farmers, and DIY customers, and operate the POS.

This role offers weekday hours with every other Saturday, employee discounts, and training; Sundays off. Positive attitude and reliability are valued, and training is provided for those willing to learn.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable using a basic computer and point-of-sale system.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Hardware, construction, farming, or retail experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train someone who is dependable, honest, and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Helping contractors, farmers, and owner-builders find products.
• Answering customer questions.
• Operating the point-of-sale register.
• Learning our products, departments, and store layout.
• Stocking, facing, and organizing shelves.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and professional store.
• Supporting the rest of the Farmland Hardware team as needed.
