Professional Services Group in Jefferson, WI is hiring a part-time Safety Services Community Worker to support families referred by Jefferson County Human Services. The role focuses on safety, parenting, housing, education, and connecting families with essential services.

Responsibilities include evaluating needs, developing safety plans, advocating for clients in crises, and conducting face-to-face visits. Travel within Jefferson County is required with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• 60 credits toward a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Experience in child welfare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate youth and families for treatment needs and refer to appropriate resources.
• Analyze client situations to determine services required to control safety threats.
• Formulate, implement, evaluate, and review safety assessments and plans.
• Intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
• Conduct face‑to‑face contact with families to ensure safety and cooperation with safety plan.
• Safely transport clients as needed.
