Sage Haus in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a House Manager / Family Assistant (Part-time) to support a busy household with two young children. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:00am–1:30pm and Fridays 9:00am–12:00pm, totaling 30–35 hours per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours and W-2 compensation of $28–$30 per hour.

The role emphasizes organization, systems thinking, proactive communication, and comfort around dogs. Start date by January 2026.

Qualifications

Reliable transportation is required; a family vehicle will be provided for work-related use.
Up-to-date vaccinations per AAP/CDC guidelines.
CPR and first aid certified or willingness to become certified.
Maintain a smoke-free environment.
Fragrance-free policy in the household.
Comfortable with dogs, including large breeds.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Transport the youngest child to and from their caregiver Monday through Thursday, using the family vehicle.
Provide light backup childcare as needed (nap coverage, occasional evenings for date nights).
Prepare and pack snacks and meals for the children.
Rotate children's clothing seasonally as they grow; sort and coordinate donation drop-offs.
Establish and maintain organizational systems throughout the home, including play spaces and laundry areas.
Assist with packing and unpacking for travel and light event prep.
Laundry: wash, fold, and manage linens; weekly bedding swaps.
