San Jacinto College is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member to teach Vocational Nursing courses at the North campus. Instructors serve on an as-needed basis and may teach evening or weekend classes, with assignments at on-site locations.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, a current Texas RN license, and at least three years of nursing experience. Preference is given to those with a Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing and prior LVN teaching experience.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is required.
At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing is required, exclusive of teaching.

Part-Time Faculty - Vocational Nursing (North)

Teaching Vocational Nursing related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Nursing.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:
