Job summary

Qualifications

• Developing and/or updating a class syllabus.
• Ordering the appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start date.
• Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
• Meeting all designated class periods and notifying absences with a plan to cover the class.
• Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
• Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
• Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
• Collecting and submitting student assessment data for accreditation purposes.
• Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
• Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.

Pay Range

Pay Range $2,084.07 - $2,146.59 per credit hour

Job Description

For elementary and junior and senior high school teachers who wish to work on problems from their own classrooms. Instruction primarily on an individual basis. Students may build new units of work, outline science courses and sequences, or enrich existing courses.
