Job summary

Qualifications

• Current ARRT Registration in Radiography is mandatory.
• Preferred ARRT Registration in MRI and CT.

Job Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format based on the approved course outline by selecting and utilizing a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods that address all learning modalities to ensure that the needs of individual students in the Radiography, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging programs are met.

• Knowledgeable in course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
• Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
• Participate in assessment processes as appropriate.
• Conduct engaging classroom lectures and/or labs based on the course outline.
• Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity for concerns and actively involving them in discussions or activities.
• Make arrangements for equipment and supplies as needed.
• Complete all required assessments.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Travel to assigned clinical facilities as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline.
• Maintain expertise and competence through continuing professional development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Current ARRT Registration in Radiography.
• At least two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree.
• Current ARRT Registration in MRI.
• Current ARRT Registration in CT.
