Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the Department of Engineering Technology for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
The Engineering Technology (ET) department offers programs with a hands-on, applied approach to engineering. ET blends the application of science, engineering knowledge, and technical skills to solve problems in a variety of fields. ET focuses on design and application, with emphasis areas including engineering design graphics, manufacturing, applied mechanical engineering, communication systems, embedded processing and digital systems, and power systems. The ET program supports project-based learning to apply state-of-the-art technology to real-world problems.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
