Job summary

The New School’s School of Jazz & Contemporary Music is seeking highly qualified part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses on campus. This Local 802 unit position offers opportunities to develop syllabi, deliver lectures, and mentor students in a vibrant, inclusive setting.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2–3 years of teaching experience; a terminal degree is preferred. Appointments are on-site at 55 West 13th Street in New York.
