Qualifications

• General education courses require a master’s degree in the discipline or a master’s degree plus at least 18 graduate credits relevant to the discipline.
• For courses beyond general education, a terminal degree or a degree at least one level above the teaching level is required (Bachelor’s for associate programs, Master’s for bachelor programs, terminal for graduate programs).
• Individuals progressing toward credentialing and mentored by a credentialed faculty member may teach during their educational program.
• Faculty teaching technically-oriented courses must have practical field experience and hold current licenses/certifications as applicable.
• Must be available for day and/or evening classes.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Background check and official transcripts required prior to hire.
