Job summary

San Jacinto College is seeking a Part-Time Faculty member for Engineering Design Graphics (Drafting) at the North location. The instructor will teach Engineering Design and Graphics/Drafting Technology courses and support student learning in a hands-on environment.

Applicants must have an Associate degree or higher and at least three years of related industry experience in drafting technologies. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CADWorx, Aveva E3D or Civil 3D is required.

• Deliver instruction at the assigned on-site location.
• Some assignments may occur in the evening or on weekends.

Part-Time Faculty - Engineering Design Graphics (Drafting) (North)

Teaching Engineering Design and Graphics/Drafting Technology related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time facultyarenot entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits
of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate Degree (or higher).
• Must have at least three (3) years of related work experience in Engineering Design Graphics/Drafting Technology.
• Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, CADWorx, Aveva E3D (Everything 3D) or Autodesk Civil 3D.
