Overview

The Department of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in computer science and related fields. The department invites applications for multiple adjunct positions to start in Fall 2023.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 2 courses per semester (on-campus or non-online or in dual-modality).
    • Undergraduate courses: C Programming, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases, Cybersecurity, Forensic Computing
    • Graduate courses: Machine Learning, Big Data Computing
  • All graduate courses and some undergraduate courses are offered in the evening and meet once a week. All classes are capped at thirty students.
Qualifications

The positions require an M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or a B.S. with relevant industrial or teaching experience, a commitment to teaching excellence, and excellent communication skills.
