Job summary

Fordham University’s Department of Communication and Media Studies is seeking experienced part-time instructors to teach across undergraduate and Masters programs. Courses are held in person at Rose Hill (Bronx) or Lincoln Center (Manhattan) with typical meeting times and weekly office hours.

Qualified applicants usually hold a Masters in a cognate field and may have a PhD in process; two years’ higher education teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters in a cognate subject is required.
• PhD preferred or enrolled in a PhD program.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and Masters level courses across the program areas.
• Deliver in-person instruction at Rose Hill campus or Lincoln Center.
• Manage weekly office hours, including remote availability.
• Follow pre-existing syllabi and coordinate with program needs.
