Job summary
San Jacinto College invites applications for a Part-Time Faculty - Associate Degree Nursing (South). The instructor will teach Associate Degree Nursing related course work and contribute to student learning at the South campus.
Positions are reviewed on an as-needed basis and are not current vacancies; instructors are hired for the duration of the course and may teach evening or weekend classes as required, with on-site presence expected.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing required.
- Current Texas RN Nursing license.
- At least three years direct or related nursing experience (excluding teaching).

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
- Master's of Science in Nursing
- Current Texas RN Nursing license
- At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.
Salary Grade: AH
Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
