The part-time faculty member (rank commensurate with experience)within the Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) Program is primarilyresponsible for didactic, laboratory, and/or simulation courseinstruction. It is expected that a faculty member will be effectivein the areas of course design, course delivery, and evaluation. Thefaculty member is instrumental in assisting the program to ensurethat students consistently meet the program’s Student LearningOutcomes to achieve competencies required for AA practice. Thefaculty member is guided by the Program Director and will assistthe program with curriculum assessment to meet the CAAHEPaccreditation Standards. The part-time faculty member works no morethan 30 hours per week with an assigned teaching workload according to department needs as defined in the Faculty Supplement.
